Gamelion has been working on a few games as of late and one of those games happens to be Rage of the Gladiator. Originally released onto the Nintendo Wii, we actually talked about Rage of the Gladiator heading our way back in October of last year and now we finally get to dive into the brutal world of gladiators beating the crap out of each other.
Rage of the Gladiator puts players into the role of Gracius, a gladiator who is battling for his life in the arena. Instead of just fighting other gladiators though, Gracius has the pleasure and privilege to have to fight massive evil bosses instead. There are no little guys to beat up in between fights, it’s all you and bosses.
Rage of the Gladiator Features:

– Full voice acting. Each boss has its own personality, and taunts you mercilessly!
– Extremely realistic animations. When you attack bosses, the impacts and hits feel “real.”
– 14 insane finishing moves. Summon a fiery meteor, a savage tornado, or transform into a hulking colossus 10x your size!
– Customize your character with new weapons and armor.
– Gain new powers and skills! How will you build your character? Choose Offense, Defense, or Magic.
– Epic music. Enjoy blood-pumping masterpieces by legendary composer Sean Beeson!
– Great replay value. Beat the game to unlock new difficulties, where bosses are much tougher with all-new abilities! Over a dozen hours of gameplay!
– A monumental undertaking, with content comparable to a console title, but with a budget title price!
Gamelion has gone all out with this game not only making it as realistic as possible but filled with plenty of action and blood. Players have a variety of normal attacks to use plus an additional 14 ‘finishing moves’ that you can unleash to make sure the giant boss you’re beating on doesn’t get back up… ever. There’s plenty of weapons and armor available to customize your character with as well and new powers/skills to learn along the way, allowing you to build your character to how you want it.
Rage of the Gladiator is available for residents over in Europe right now and can be downloaded off of Google Play for free. It is supported with IAPs for coins which you can use for health and mana potions, armor (weapons, shields) and skill points. Coins are also earned through winning fights. The worldwide release for this game will be arriving shortly so the rest of us only have to wait a bit more before smashing someone in the face with a warhammer.
