Rayark has something great on the horizon, but it is not what you think.

I am the resident fan of Rayark on the DroidGamers team. I have been, and continue to be impressed with the quality of games that they produce. Cytus, Demo and Implosion all receive high marks from me. I keep my eyes peeled for anything Rayark related. Guess what? They have something very awesome on the horizon.

Implosion was released from Rayark earlier this year with very favorable reviews. It was a bit repetitive in some ways, but the mech-sword-slashing action was fun and plentiful. The in-game graphics were of course stunning. What really set the bar pretty high, was the CG intro that preceded the game. In it, we find Jake listening to, or remembering what someone from his  past had told him. He is listening as he is suiting up in a mech. Though the story seemed pretty important to the game, we wanted more of that story to be told during the game. The backdrop was obviously important. Now it looks like we will have the opportunity to revisit the world of Implosion.

A few days ago on Rayark’s YouTube page, they uploaded a couple of trailers for an Implosion movie. Doesn’t that sound awesome! I immediately flashed back to my days of watching Robotech Macross Saga when I was younger. The name of the movie is Implosion: Zero Day. The trailer isn’t long at all, but it gives a glimpse into the amazing artwork that we know Rayark is capable of.

Implosion: Zero Day already has a website. We will include that link below. You can sign up to receive more information. As it turns out, Rayark has turned to KickStarter and created a campaign for the movie, that will go live in December (12-05-2015). If you are interested in helping Rayark bring this movie to life, become part of the campaign. This KickStarter is one that I am interested in supporting.

The good thing about it is that Rayark already has a successful franchise and I believe, audience for this movie. I am certain there are plenty of anime fans out there that may not be gamers, but would really enjoy this movie. If you have some friends that enjoy anime or mechs, or just intriguing stories, point them to the website, so they can check out Implosion: Zero Day.

Once we have more information about the movie, or updates about the game, we will let you know. In the meantime, check out the trailer for Implosion: Zero Day, and let us know what you think about it. Are you interested in the KickStarter campaign? If so, hit the link below, and you can find out more about what Rayark is planning for the Implosion movie. If you haven’t had the opportunity to check out the game Implosion: Never Lose Hope, we have that link for you too. Hopefully we will have more information for you 12/5, when the KickStarter campaign goes live.
