Shonen Games opens up pre-registration for their upcoming Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing mobile title

Shonen Games appears to be bringing a Naruto game to mobile devices in the very near future as the company has opened up pre-registration for it this morning. The new game is called Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing and is a join venture between Shonen Games, Bandai Namco, and GREE.

There isn’t a ton of details about this game right now, but we do know a couple of things about it. Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing, or Naruto Shippuden UNB for short, will have players forming a team of Naruto characters that they choose, with combat also being team-based requiring formations as well. So it’s sort of an action/tactical type of hybrid title. Details are scare as we mentioned, so we are going off of what we know.

Besides the team-based mechanics, players will also be able to unleash each character’s Ultimate Jutsu when the time arises where you’ll need to use that kind of power. When you do use your Ultimate Jutsu, and this part will have fans of the franchise rather happy, you will get to watch cutscenes from the Ultimate Ninja Storm series for the animation of the Ultimate Jutsu.

As of right now, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Blazing is slated for release onto iOS and Android this year. However, this may end up being an Eastern only (Japan) release. We are waiting to hear back from the developers as to whether or not this is true, and if it isn’t true then when a Western release would be happening. Interested players can pre-register for this game over on its official website. If you do pre-register, you will get rewards when the game does official launch.
