Stainless Games have decided to run a promotion similar to the one that they did when the company originally released the classic and bloody game Carmageddon onto Google Play. For those of you unfamiliar with Carmageddon, this particular game is actually quite a classic as it was originally released 16 years ago on June 30th.
Carmageddon is a racing game that made quite a bit of news when it was originally released. It features an open world style of gameplay where your goal is the same as any other racing game out there, get to the finish line first. The route you take is pretty much up to you. However the reason it made a lot of news back when it was originally released was due to the fact you could run over pedestrians. In fact you were rewarded for doing exactly that with bonus points.

When Stainless Games released Carmageddon onto Google Play back in May of this year, the company ran a promotion to celebrate the game’s release by offering it up for free for a limited time. Well to celebrate the game’s 16th birthday, they have released Camageddon back onto Google Play with a free promotional version for anyone who doesn’t own the game or missed out on getting it free when it was released.
The free promotional version is the full game and is not like the other free version on Google Play which is basically just a demo version with limited content so you could try the game out before buying it. If you haven’t nabbed a copy of Carmageddon yet, now is a good time to do so since it’s free. It won’t be free for long though so don’t waste too much time in getting it.
