Nvidia’s GeForce Now gaming-on-demand platform seems to be continuing the trend they have been doing for quite some time now, with releasing a new game every week on Tuesday. However, it seems as of late, there has been more than one game added each week instead, and this week is no exception to that either.
Yesterday saw two new games being added to GeForce Now called Oceanhorn and The Book of Unwritten Tales 2. Starting off with the first game mentioned, Oceanhorn is an Action-RPG that was originally released for PC via Steam back in November 2013, followed by an iOS release shortly afterwards. This game takes players on a quest to find out what has happened to your character’s dad, who disappeared during the night after leaving a letter for you to find.
Players will be exploring the islands of Uncharted Seas where you will be fighting a variety of monsters, leveling up and getting stronger while learning how to use magic, and hopefully find out what happened to your father. You’ll also learn about the history behind the ancient kingdom of Arcadia and the sea monster known as Oceanhorn.
The other game is called The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 which was released earlier this year in February. This is a point-and-click adventure game where players will join Wilbur, Ivo, Nate and Critter in the world of Aventásia as you help them fulfill their destinies. This game takes place a few years after the first game where players defeated arch-witch Mortroga. However, even with the defeat of Mortroga, the land of Aventasia is still having a lot of issues and it is up to your characters to solve the problems going on.
Both games come with full controller support and since both are on GeForce Now, can be played on any Shield device. Access to both games are different though. Oceanhorn is a premium GeForce Now game, costing $14.99 for anyone wanting to own the game. On the flip side, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is available to anyone with a GeForce Now monthly subscription.
