Wuthering Waves has dropped the Phase II of its Version 2.6 update, By Sun’s Scourge By Moon’s Revelation. There are new character banners running already as Phase II introduces main story progression and exploration content. There are limited-time log-in rewards and two new 5-Star Resonator banners.

The update is the continuation of the main quest with By Moon’s Fated Light, Chapter II Act IX. The story event picks up after the resolution of the recent crisis, where you attend a victory ceremony hosted by Ceremonial Officer Bruno.
Amid the celebrations of bonfires and cheers, the narrative promises an emotional moment where countless petals rain down as a symbol of glory and triumph, hinting at a fateful reunion with a long-lost figure.
Several events are also live. Gifts of the Moon Roamer runs until October 8th, 2025, offering free rewards if you just log in. Eligible players at Union Level 8 or above can claim Radiant Tide x10 and Forging Tide x10 during the event window.
Another activity, Second Coming of Solaris (Ultra), runs until October 6th. It tasks you with locating anomalies across different scenes, photographing them using the Zoom Camera, and working with Bertolt to modify the findings.
Moonlit Revelation is a daily log-in divination event that runs until October 8th. You collect Waveborn Moonstones to decipher Lunar Phases and earn buffs. You can also unlock the exclusive Wax and Wane avatar after deciphering seven phases.
Convening banners are a major part of Wuthering Waves Version 2.6 Phase II
Several featured Resonators and weapons are up for grabs. Across Time’s Waxes and Wanes brings 5-Star Resonator Iuno to the roster. It also brings 4-Stars Aalto, Baizhi, and Taoqi from September 17th to October 8th.
