[UPDATE: Game Released] Day of the Viking, Adult Swim’s Latest Game is Coming to Android

Adult Swim Games continues to increase their presence in the Google Play Store with fun games. Their latest project, in collaboration with Vorax Studios, is Day of the Viking. It was released a few weeks ago on iOS, and we have learned the game is also in development for Android. That is good news to hear, because Day of the Viking’s cast of characters, seem quite colorful, while providing humorous action, in a castle defense style game.

If you are into interesting statistics then here is one for you. Video games Super Bowl ads generally make an appearance every year and this one was no except. In terms of numbers though, this year was a little different. PC/console games had a total of zero ads during this Super Bowl. Mobile games, however, has a total of three ads and you can probably guess at least one of the games that had an ad since it normally has TV ads as well.

More details regarding the upcoming Duke Nukem 3D: Hail to the King Collection

We have dug up some additional details regarding the upcoming Duke Nukem 3D: Hail to the King Collection from Voidpoint that will be landing onto Google Play sometime in Q1 2015. As we mentioned in our original article, Voidpoint hasn’t come up with a specific price point yet for the collection but we do now have confirmation that there will not, at all, be any IAPs. We did mention that the entire collection would be included in the launch but considering the amount of games in it, we wanted to make sure it would be available for one price.

[Update: Released] Rovio Stars will be releasing a new game soon called Sky Punks

There is a lot of talk lately that Rovio is having a less then stellar time right now with revenue. Many sites including ours have reported on it and it is basically due to the fact that you can only do so much with a franchise like Angry Birds before it gets tired and old. The company has relied so heavily on that franchise that it is now seeing less money than it has in some time. Of course they are still making a lot of money, just not as much as they used to make.

Duke Nukem 3D: Hail to the King Collection will be coming to Android this Spring

Yesterday was the day that Duke Nukem 3D was released onto PC back in 1996. That was 19 years ago and to celebrate this anniversary, Voidpoint will be bringing Duke Nukem 3D: Hail to the King Collection to Android this Spring. This is largely thanks to the fact that Voidpoint has acquired commercial rights to the original 1996 PC game Duke Nukem 3D, the expansions ‘Duke It Out in D.C,’ Duke Caribbean: Life’s a Beach,’ ‘Duke: Nuclear Winter’ as well as the N64’s original Duke Nukem 64 and PlayStation’s original Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown from 1997.
