A few days ago we talked about a rather cool hack n’ slash action game heading our way officially on January 24th, 2013 which is today. This game was developed by a single person which is pretty impressive if you look at the quality of the game. So what game is this that we are talking about? It’s called Undead Slayer.

The moment all of you Temple Run fans out there have been waiting for since word got out last week that a sequel was on the way has finally arrived. Imangi Studios has released Temple Run 2 right on time onto Google Play and considering this game is just as popular on Android as it is on iOS, we should see download numbers similar to what the iOS launch pulled in with around 20 million download in four days.
So while a couple of us were commenting in our previous article we just posted about Tin Man Games and Steve Jackson teaming up for their newest adventure gamebook called House of Hell about how we hope some of the older, more cherished, Fighting Fantasy books would make it to Android, Tin Man Games decided to swing by and let us know that they indeed would be coming and exactly what titles those would be.
Steve Jackson of Fighting Fantasy books fame and Tin Man Games have teamed up to bring another Fighting Fantasy adventure book to the world of mobile called House of Hell. This type of news seems to be following a pattern this week unfortunately in regards to Capcom and recent game releases. Yesterday they launched Resident Evil 4 onto the Google Play store but it appears it is only for residents of Japan. This is the same game we talked about last year that was exclusive to LG devices in South Korea.
Vendetta Online by Guild Software has been around for a very long time if you look at the normal shelf life of any MMO game these days. Few make it past the 10 year mark and Vendetta Online is one of those few who have made it. Now Guild Software wants to expand the game to a whole new level and has hit up Kickstarter to do it.
In the spirit of Tron and the light racing bikes from the franchise, Avko Labs has released a tunnel racing game called Death Track that takes influence from the Tron brand. Sporting glowy 3D graphics, players will hope into their light bikes and race through a tunnel dodging hazards along the way.
One brand of fighting games we had hoped would make it to Android at some point is the Tekken series. Well we sort of got our wish filled although it isn’t exactly what we had in mind when we said we wanted Tekken to come to Android. See, Namco Bandai is bringing Tekken to Android but instead of a head-to-head fighting game it will arrive as a cross-platform card battle game instead.
So about a week ago there was a story we reported on regarding Gameloft’s Asphalt 7: Heat title and the fact that users were being bombarded suddenly with what looked to be Airpush ads. It didn’t help either that a forum administrator over on the Gameloft forums confirmed that Gameloft uses Airpush. Well Gameloft has sent over an official statement regarding this whole issue.
