Gamescom 2013 is well under way and while a lot of the focus right now is on the next gen consoles, mobile is certainly not out of the picture and is actually a pretty big part of the gaming-centric conference. To start things off, EA has made a couple of announcements with the first one being the mobile version of Dungeon Keeper which will be making its way to Android this Winter.

Electronic Arts is apparently going to be releasing another Dragon’s Age game soon but this time it will be a sort of spin-off game for mobile devices called Heroes of Dragon Age. While there isn’t a whole lot of details right now regarding this game, there are a few details available to share about Heroes of Dragon Age.
Wizards of the Coast are about to host a year-long event called ‘The Sundering’ which will be taking place across different forms of media and platforms. The event is designed to reshape the Forgotten Realms world and one of the platforms involved is Android with a game we’ve talked about a couple of times already called Dungeons & Dragons: Arena of War.
Dragon & Shoemaker is a new 3D side-scrolling platformer from 4toon Studio that was created for the purpose of taking players through an old Polish legend about a shoemaker and an evil dragon. Players will travel through an early medieval world of Cracow and relive the legend where a simple shoemaker becomes a dragon slayer.
One thing Android, and mobile in general, have vast amounts of are endless running games. Since he genre’s inception, everyone and their mother have been making these games trying to take a piece of the endless running pie. So finding one that is a little more unique than the other current endless runners out there can be hard to do. Retro Runners by Countryside Games happens to be one of those unique endless runners.
Thecle’s rather popular hack ‘n slash dungeon crawler called Deprofundis is getting a 2.0, or a sort of sequel, called Deprofundis: Requiem. This new game will feature new HD graphics to enjoy while you’re hacking up monsters and there are some very unique features that owners of the original game will want to know about.

It’s about that time once again where we round-up all the Android games on sale right now over on Google Play so you can easily take advantage of some good deals when picking up a new game or two. Right now Cave’s sale on their Bullet Hell shooters is still going on although that will be ending soon. However there are some other good game to pick up right now as well.
The other day we talked about the fact that Gameloft’s next installment into the Asphalt racing series of games had been delayed and that the August 8th, 2013 release date given during the Google Nexus 7 event wasn’t an exact nor official release date. That was some bad news but today we have some good news with Gameloft announcing the actual release date for the game via their Twitter account.
Red Robot Labs are the folks behind the rather unique location-based MMORPG Life is Magic. The company has released a new game onto Android called Friendly Fire! which is a more comical tower defense game similar in style (visually that is) to other games like Great Big War Game. Mainly thanks to the comic style the art has in-game.
