It’s time for another round-up of sales going on right now as another week draws to a close. You’ll definitely want to probably snag at least one or two of these games.
It is time for another video from Nvidia regarding their upcoming Android-powered handheld gaming system Project Shield. This time the company is showcasing the official Arma Tactics game that is slated for release soon being played on Project Shield. A couple of days ago we talked about Gameloft’s upcoming Dungeon Hunter 4 game and that it was slated for release onto iOS yesterday (which did happen) and that according to the french version of the Gameloft blog, the game would also arrive yesterday for Android as well. It seems like January 2013 was a pretty decent month for upcoming game announcements and now it seems that April is going to be the month where a lot of those games that were announced will be finally making their way to Google Play. First we have Final Fantasy: All The Bravest this morning, albeit in Japan only right now, and now we have Hills of Glory 3D (published by AMA Ltd) which was also announced back in January.
Zynga has an interesting and rather good looking game on the way that is a bit out of the box for them. This is due to Zynga buying out a game studio going by the name of November Software not too long ago which was basically a four-man studio. The game they were working on was probably what caught Zynga’s interest, mainly because Zynga deals mostly with social and casual games, not Action-RPG titles.
Earlier in 2012 we started talking about a rather entertaining game called Eden to GREEEEN from iNiS Corp. which was heading to Tegra-based Android devices. Back then we also got to sit down during GDC 2012 and get some hands-on time with the game and it was certainly quite a fun game even though we only had a short time with it. It also seems that instead of publishing the game themselves, iNiS Corp. has let Zynga publish Eden to Green onto Google Play instead.
Recently we mentioned that the newest addition to Gameloft’s Dungeon Hunter franchise would be arriving this month and now rumor has it that it will be arriving tomorrow. Dungeon Hunter 4 is going back to the majority of the franchise’s roots from the first couple of games where there was a storyline and actual dungeons to crawl your way through, killing monsters and getting to loot.
Awhile ago we wrote about ways to play Wii and Gamecube games on your Android device using Splashtop Remote Desktop and the Dolphin Emulator for your PC. Well now you can cut out pretty much all the steps to pull that off as the team behind the Dolphin Emulator have released a pre-alpha version onto Google Play.
