Gamevil wants you to conquer lots of planets in Galaxy Empires

Gamevil has released a new game this morning, breaking away from their usual releases of retro style games mostly in the RPG category, and have released a game called Galaxy Empire. This definitely looks like a title that is being published by Gamevil but was developed by a different company due to how radically different the visuals are. No surprise though since Gamevil is really pushing their partner program for indie developers, having recently added another $10 million in funding to the pool.

City of Secrets Review: Casual questing in an underground setting

I recently sat down with another adventure game, this time Aidem Media’s City of Secrets, fully expecting to find a similar experience to other point-and-click titles from earlier reviews. There are many similar designs and ideas between all adventure games but the unique setting and charming characters in City of Secrets help to set it apart from the pack. We are all familiar with clicking and moving our characters, reading or listening to sometimes massive piles of text, fumbling our way through sometimes great and often horrible puzzles and scratching our heads when an obvious (in hindsight) solution isn’t so obvious. The adventure genre is as filled with repeats and bland designs as any other, but City of Secrets puts out enough original content to make it noteworthy.

2K Games unleashes Fiasco the Cat onto Android in House Pest

2K Games have finally gotten around to releasing their second title onto Android called House Pest: Fiasco the Cat. While their first game was more of an adult title pertaining to politics, this new title is more of an all ages game, especially appealing to the younger Android audience out there although anyone of any age might enjoy this.

Rhythm action gaming meets sword slicing action in Music Samurai

There really isn’t a whole lot of games that could be classified as a rhythm action game on Android, or for mobile in general. However Pixel Punch has developed a title that fits nicely into that category of gaming called Music Samurai, where you get to play a rhythm action game as a samurai, slicing up people while you run.

Vector Unit are no strangers to the Android gaming world. They have had two hit games previously, namely the graphically-awesome Riptide GP and the moonshine-smuggling Shine Runner. Now, they’ve got a third game added to their arsenal, Beach Buggy Blitz. Racing a buggy on a beach (yes, they still haven’t completely left the water) sounds awesome, but how does it turn out actually?

Full Fat Games punts NFL Kicker 2013 onto Google Play

Full Fat games have made themselves a name on Android with their flick games. Other than Agent Dash, which we reported about some time ago, all of their titles are known for their use of flick movements, mostly to control balls (golf balls, rugby balls and footballs). Well, they’re coming back this time with yet another NFL game called NFL Kicker 13.

Two more games announced for the new Kindle Fires from Activision and Crytek

We aren’t even 24 hours past the media event that Amazon held where they announced a range of devices from a new eReader to a line of Kindle Fire HD tablets. Now we have two more companies adding support for the new Kindle Fire tablets. Both Activision and Crytek have announced games for all of the new Kindle Fire devices, Skylander Cloud Patrol and Fibble Flick n’ Roll.

The Price is Right Decades arrives to let you finally be a part of the show

About a month ago Ludia Inc released an official game based off of a television game show. This game was something a lot of people were hoping would make it over to Android and indeed it has. So what is the game we are talkinng about? The Price is Right Decades. In an interesting twist, all I can think about is the movie Happy Gilmore while writing this when Adam Sandler and Bob Barker fought.

Vector Unit unleash their new racing game Beach Buggy Blitz for Tegra devices

One of the game we mentioned awhile back that would be arriving for Tegra devices was a new game from Vector Unit called Beach Buggy Blitz. Well since then there hasn’t been a whole lot of information about the game until now. That is mainly because the game is now available for Tegra-based Android devices.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies drops Sony exclusivity, now available for most Android devices

About a month ago Glu Mobile, in conjunction with Activision, released Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies onto Android but it was strictly for Sony devices like the Xperia Play or S Tablet. It was stated then that the Sony exclusivity would last roughly a month before COD: Black Ops Zombies would be made available for the rest of the Android world.
