Back in March of this year Gameloft announced that they have teamed up with Sony Entertainment to make an official Men In Black 3 game for iOS and Android devices. Slated for a May 17th 2012 release, there hasn’t been too many details released about the game as of yet.
Developed by Refresh Creations, Gravity Force 3 is, as the developer calls it, a pew pew game. For those of you unfamiliar with what a pew pew game is, basically that means it’s a shoot-em-up, or Shmup for short.
During the second Humble Bundle for Android, one of the games being offered was called Swords and Soldiers. Developed by Two Tribes, this is an action-strategy game, layered with a lot of humor, where you control an army of vikings in their quest to create the ultimate BBQ sauce.
One game we have been reporting on for quite some time now is the 3D cross-platform MMORPG that has been in development for over a year called World of Midgard. Having been in closed beta status for awhile now, the developers have finally released the game as an open beta.
New information about Team Meat’s upcoming mobile version of their hit platformer called Super Meat Boy. While the original game is more of a twitch-based style of gameplay in a platformer format, the mobile version of Super Meat Boy will play out more like a Canabalt type of game.
Like the Fruit Ninja style of gameplay but miss the blood and guts of slashing zombies? Yeah I think that way sometimes as well. Luckily our friends at 21st Street Games, developers of the ridiculously awesome Techno Kitty Adventure, has you covered with their new game The Tossing Dead.
Gamevil just pushed out an update for their 3D DotA style game on iOS called Plant Wars. Being that a lot of people, including myself, love DotA style games, we figured we would ask our friends at Gamevil if Plants Wars would be coming to Android anytime soon.
Back in March of this year we talked about a sequel to Infinite Dreams’ Shoot the Birds game which is to be called Shoot the Zombirds. While we didn’t have a whole lot of detail about the game back in March, we now know a little more about the game as well as get to see a new teaser trailer for it.
One game we got to check out during GDC 2012 was Game Insight’s Rule The Kingdom game which is a sort of city building / RPG type of mash-up for Android. The city building aspects are sort of a side note with this game while the RPG elements really are the focus.
Occasionally it is nice to check out random genres of games such as music-based titles. When doing so, you end up finding some great games sometimes and Cytus by Rayark Inc is definitely one of those. If you have played Dance Dance Revolution or even Flash Flash Revolution, then you already know what you’re getting yourself into.
