Break a Brick by CrazyBunch landed onto Google Play a couple of days ago and while at first you may just think to yourself that it’s another brick breaking game, you would only be partially correct. While the breaking of bricks does happen, that’s about where the similarities end with other brick breaking puzzle games.

Seville, Spain is the spot on the globe where the headquarters of Genera Games calls home. They have additional offices/studios around the world in Boston, Romania and Los Angeles. They recently released an exciting action-filled endless runner called Ramboat. It is a blast to play, and has plenty of missions to conquer. Think of Halfbrick Studios’ Jetpack Joyride, and you will have an idea of just how fun this game is to play.
Rohschinken Games has just released a minimalistic style action game called Spin Commander which uses your device’s Gyroscope in order to control your ship. The goal for this game is to survive as long as possible which is done by spinning like crazy and defending yourself. This is done by shooting at your enemies, pushing them off screen.
It’s almost July 4th holiday time here in the US and already plenty of games have gone on sale for this upcoming holiday weekend. So we are going to do a round-up today, and then an additional one tomorrow. So get your pennies ready as there should be plenty of games on sale over the next couple of days.
Released by Alper Sankaya, Sword of Xolan is a retro looking platformer that was just released on Android. In this game, players will assume the role of the eponymous Xolan, who sets out to restore peace and serenity (by way of his sword), and stand against the darkness that has overtaken his land.
SEGA has released a new sequel to their Sonic Dash game today called Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom. This particular game is entirely themed around the new Sonic Boom cartoon, which means the world and the entire cast in this game all come from the TV show. This sequel also has a few new features that the original game does not.
Earlier today Nvidia announced four new games for their Shield brand of Android devices, specifically the Shield Android TV. However, those weren’t the only games coming to Android TV as five other games have been updated recently to bring Android TV support to them, most within the last week.
Meltdown is a top down shooter from Bullypix. The gameplay is simplistic, the story is nearly non-existent, and the levels are repetitive. With all that being said, the game was a total blast, and I looked forward to playing any time I wasn’t. It’s not without flaws, just having spelled out a few of them. Yet, none of those really mattered to me, nor dissuaded me from enjoying the game.
[Update: Released] Zen Studios reveals that Ant-Man will be the next Marvel themed pinball table
Coming hot off the heels of the recent release of the MARS pinball table, Zen Studios has announced that the next Marvel-themed pinball table for their Zen Pinball platform will be Ant-Man. For those of you not familiar with who Ant-Man is, he is a somewhat underrated superhero in the Marvel universe who can shrink down to the size of an ant. However recently Ant-Man has had a bit of a makeover by Marvel and now he looks a lot better than he used to.
Back in 2013 Nekki released their rather cool running game Vector which takes place in an Orwellian world, with players trying to escape Big Brother. It’s not too dissimilar to Canabalt, for those of you who have played it. Well if you enjoyed Vector then you should be happy to know a sequel is on the way, appropriately named Vector 2.
