Sonic Dash has had roughly two years of running and running on mobile devices, and now the game has sprinted right on passed the big 100 million downloads mark. To celebrate, there will be a new in-game event that will be starting soon that will be featuring some of Sonic’s friends as well as the blue hedgehog himself.

There is a new Oddworld game heading to mobile soon and this new mobile version of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee is going to be used to basically help with the re-launch of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee for PC on Steam as well. Square One Games, the folks behind Oddworl: Stranger’s Wrath, will be making the mobile version of Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee, which is actually done already. It won’t be released just yet though, not until the revamping of the PC version is almost done.

JoyCity today has announced that pre-registration for two of their upcoming games are now live. Depending on the type of game you prefer, there is the company’s hybrid title Elemental Wings that now has pre-registration open for it, as well as the company’s upcoming sequel to their aerial combat game Gunship Battles which is called Warship Battles.

The future of skating isn’t about juvenile humor and guest appearances by the cast of Jackass. The NVIDIA SHIELD Android TV launch game OlliOlli cuts through all that, ditches a dimension, and focuses on what’s most important in a skateboard game: earning the most ludicrous combos you can via grinds and tricks. And it’s leading the way of a rebirth of extreme sports games.
[UPDATE: Game Released] Alpha Squadron 2: Edge of Oblivion will be landing on Android later this week
The rather fun 3D aerial space combat game Alpha Squadron will be getting a sequel this week called Edge Of Oblivion: Alpha Squadron 2. Developed once again by Martian Monkey Games, Alpha Squadron 2 will take players back into combat to fight off the evil Hadian Empire using different starfighters in aerial combat.
Sometimes being a criminal isn’t a bad thing and in the case of Chillingo’s newly published game Robbery Bob 2: Double Trouble, that is indeed the case. This game is all about sneaking around, stealing stuff, stopping someone who is even more evil than you, and inadvertently saving the world.
Hotline: Miami is one of the hottest launch titles for the Nvidia Shield Android TV and one that’s getting fans of hardcore indie games hot under the collar, particularly those who recall the PC launch of this highly original 8-bit retro styled top-down shooter.

[UPDATE: Game Released] Halfbrick will be releasing Radical Rappelling onto Google Play tomorrow
Tomorrow is turning out to be a pretty big day of game releases already for Android gamers to check out. Another game we can expect to arrive tomorrow is a new title from Halfbrick called Radical Rappelling. This particular game goes back to Halfbrick’s roots in a lot of ways, where it is all about getting a high score, similar to Jetpack Joyride.
Avada Games will be releasing a cross-platform brawler called Brutal Souls onto Android next month. Built using the Unity3D game engine, Brutal Soul is all about good versus evil, battling it out for supremacy, but with a martial arts and fantasy theme to it.
