Zen Studios has released two new pinball tables for purchase and download today for their pinball platform on Android called Zen Pinball THD. The first table is another Marvel-based one called World War Hulk while the second one is where you can conduct hazardous experiments, simply called Tesla. Both are now available through Zen Pinball THD for download and playing.
There are plenty of continuous running games out for Android right now with even more heading our way. However there is one that we reported on back in June 2012 which was absolutely gorgeous looking in terms of visuals and the theme was pretty cool itself. That game, developed by Goroid, is called The End and after a couple of months waiting it is now available on the Google Play store.
At some point, you’ve probably dreamed of living the life of a subway-surfing, graffiti-spraying, boombox-toting, hoverboard riding kid. Living life on the edge and running from the law. Jumping over trains is your 9-to-5. Every day, 24/7, making your living off of coins you find laying all over the railways. It’s a pretty humble lifestyle, but because because you’re the definition of “Cool”, you can handle it, right? Who are you kidding, of course you can. You’re no match for that cop and his dog. Why? Because you’re a Subway Surfer. Okay, that’s kind of a grittier take on the super-colorful, hyper-stylized world of Subway Surfers, but if you’ve ever fantasized about subway-surfing, this game is for you. And if you haven’t guessed the title by now, the game I’m talking about is Subway Surfers.
Sega stated that after Sonic 4 Episode II that there would be no more Sonic 4 games heading to Android or iOS. That doesn’t mean that there won’t be any more Sonic games at all and to prove it, Sega has begun teasing a new Sonic themed game that is slated for release onto iOS and it is looking promising for Android as well. So what is the new game? Sonic Jump.
Here’s a new arcade side-scrolling shooter developed by Dancing Cat studios (who are known for their previous games Star Armada and Crusaders) located in a futuristic world and full of fantastical places to visit and lots of enemies to shoot in the face. Future Mayhem features tons of shooting gameplay and a randomly generated world each time you run through the game, ensuring replay value for every campaign you get to play.
Sega’s latest game to hit Android, Zaxxon Escape, is a remake of the classic arcade game from the 80’s, Zaxxon. However, due to me having never played the original Zaxxon arcade game because I wasn’t born yet then, I’ll just review this modern remake based on its own merits.
A couple of days ago, we talked about Sega re-mastering their classic arcade game Zaxxon and releasing it for the modern times as Zaxxon Escape. Well, in prompt fashion, the game has now landed on Google Play to appease your arcade gaming needs.
A series of pinball tables under the label Pro Pinball were released back in the 1990’s and were among one of the favorites when it comes to playing pinball games. Well Pro Pinball is looking to make a come back and the developers, Silverball Studios, have jumped onto Kickstarter to help fund the entire project. If successful, Pro Pinball will get released onto Android, OUYA and Kindle Fire HD tablets.
If you like chiptunes, Velociraptors-turned-spider-cyborgs and scrolling, then this game is for you! Velocispider is game a developed by Retro Dreamer studios, released for iOS and ported to Android by Noodlecake studios.
A couple of weeks ago we reported on a few titles coming from Ubisoft over the course of the next several weeks, one of which is now already available called Prince of Persia Classic. Another title that was slated to be released last week was Rayman Jungle Run but it was unfortunately delayed with a release date of September 27th, which is today. Thankfully, the game has arrived right on schedule.
