The Frogger inspired game Crossy Road has been out on mobile devices for 20 days and in that short period of time the game has managed to make some pretty impressive numbers. Because of the numbers Crossy Road is producing, there are plenty of spin-offs and similar games out now as people try to ride the momentum Crossy Road has created. Crossy Roads hasn’t been out that long for mobile gamers to enjoy. In fact the game has only been out since November 2014 on iOS, on Android since Christmas (on Amazon), and on Google Play since last week. That, however, hasn’t stopped the developers from making a cool million dollars already off of just video ads.
Mojang will be hosting a public Q&A session on their TwitchTV channel later this week regarding Minecraft: Pocket Edition which means that this will be an excellent opportunity to ask the questions you may have regarding the game, or what is coming in the future, directly to the developers themselves.
The rather fun and humor-filled game Crossy Roads has made the journey from Amazon’s Appstore over to Google Play today. Originally released on December 15th, 2014 as a short-term exclusive on Amazon, Crossy Roads is now available on Google Play for those of you who don’t like or can’t use Amazon’s Appstore or own a Kindle device.
Thanks to games like Flappy Birds there has been quite the movement of games that are simple to play but extremely challenging to survive for long periods of time in. Whether it be you trying to keep a bird flying through obstacles for as long as possible or some other method of movement through hazards and dying relentlessly whenever you touch one, these games do make for great time killers and are usually pretty enjoyable to play.
