Crossy Roads hasn’t been out that long for mobile gamers to enjoy. In fact the game has only been out since November 2014 on iOS, on Android since Christmas (on Amazon), and on Google Play since last week. That, however, hasn’t stopped the developers from making a cool million dollars already off of just video ads.

The rather fun and humor-filled game Crossy Roads has made the journey from Amazon’s Appstore over to Google Play today. Originally released on December 15th, 2014 as a short-term exclusive on Amazon, Crossy Roads is now available on Google Play for those of you who don’t like or can’t use Amazon’s Appstore or own a Kindle device.
Thanks to games like Flappy Birds there has been quite the movement of games that are simple to play but extremely challenging to survive for long periods of time in. Whether it be you trying to keep a bird flying through obstacles for as long as possible or some other method of movement through hazards and dying relentlessly whenever you touch one, these games do make for great time killers and are usually pretty enjoyable to play.
Temple Run has evolved once again. This time instead of being an endless runner for your Android phone or tablet, or an endless runner themed after a Disney movie, this new evolution of Temple Run brings the game into the world of virtual reality.
A few days ago the kid’s MMO Club Penguin was released for Android on Google Play. When I was younger I had played it a lot back when the game was new on web browsers around 2006, I’m older now but I can still see how Club Penguin has been able to maintain a fun family friendly world for children to play in.
As with pretty much every holiday that has some sort of theme to it, Christmas is one of those times where game developers release updates full of content based on the Christmas theme. Madfinger Games has released an update for their model building game Monzo which features Christmas themed models to build.
EA’s upcoming Sim City BuildIt is currently in a soft launch in a few territories right now such as Canada. However for the rest of the world, we will have to wait until EA decides to release the game worldwide until we can get a chance to play it and see if it is a worthy addition to the franchise for mobile players to dig into.
Immanitas Entertainment, developers of such games as Dracula’s Castle and the never released movie tie-in game Ong Bak Tri, has released a new game onto Google Play called Plant Panic. In this game players have to defend their plant against bugs and other animals while it attempts to grow from a mere seedling into a full flower.
Noodlecake Studios is gearing up for another release onto Android this week and this new game is called Bitcoin Billionaire. Ever wanted to get into Bitcoin mining but just didn’t want to deal with the hardware requirements to actually do it? Well the good news is that this won’t help with that either but it will give you the satisfaction of mining fake Bitcoins.
