Single handedly bring victory in the Pacific theatre of World War 2 in Capcom’s 1942, now out on Google Play
Released by Capcom, 1941 is a top down, bullet hell style game that’s been release on to Android. Players are tasked with piloting the “Super Ace” (akin to a P-38 Lightning), and will be flying sorties over the Pacific Ocean, in World War 2.
Released by GMT Dev, Snaky Squares is a modern riff on the classic game Snake. In this game, players will assume the role of a snake that is comprised of a cube for its head, and is trailed by a length of spheres. Players will look to control where the snake goes, in its mission to consume as many of the yellow spheres on the board as it can.
About a week ago we announced that Ubisoft would be bringing a selection of games to Android, one of which was called Prince of Persia Classic which would be arriving September 13th, 2012. Well today is that day and sure enough Prince of Persia Classic is now on the Google Play store. This is the original Prince of Persia game, modernized with a new look and mobile controls.
It seems as though Konami enjoys taking the road less traveled and instead of advertising all over the place that they have released a game, they are more than happy to just release it quietly. This time it comes in the form of the 1992 classic game X-Men. Time to kick some villain ass we think.
Graal Online are currently planning to bring their old school styled MMORPG to Android, possibly in two different flavors, maybe even more. Called ‘Graal Classic’ and ‘Graal Era’, both of these games are MMORPGs and contain great old school 2D graphics which you probably have seen in a lot of retro console games from back in the day.
