Our friends over at Door 6 have released a new game onto the Google Play store today called Atmo. You may or may not remember Door 6 as it has been quite some time since they released a game for Android. For those of you who have been around Android for awhile, you may remember their tunnel racing game Vacuum which also had cash prize tournaments.
Unless you’ve just gotten your Android phone over the past week, you probably have heard about Vacuum by Door-6 and the competition they are hosting for cash prizes with the top prize being $500. Well practice time is over as today marks the first day of official competition! Here’s a few tips to help you get started.
The Vacuum competition being held by Door-6 will be starting in 2 days so we thought what a perfect time to interview our friend, Jeremy Shafton CEO of Door-6. If you haven’t heard about the competition, this is the first one to be held with cash prizes on the Android platform with the top prize being $500.
Vacuum by Door-6 has been in Beta for a short while now with only us press people having a whack at it but the wait has ended. Vacuum has landed on the Android market along with all the cash prize details which start April 1st so you have some time to practice up and get ready to try to win some cash (and it’s a good amount too!).
Having dived into this game for almost a week now I can safely say this is a fun game to play. For a beta version it’s pretty polished and ready to ship onto the Android market. Vacuum by Door-6 is a neat concept as it takes the tunnel style games to another level by having global rankings and cash prizes.
Vacuum by Door-6 Coming March 20th to the Android Market
While checking out all of my usual Android news sites and gaming sites, I stumbled onto this article via Android and Me about a new upcoming game called Vacuum by Door-6 which sparked my interest. Vacuum is a tunnel 3D game and as with a lot of games lately, it offers a global online leaderboard for rankings but Vacuum offers just a bit more then your name in the limelight.
