Following in the spirit of yesterday’s retro game article about OpenTyrian here is another retro arcade style game that just landed on the Android market recently called Full Metal Warriors II by JoyMaster Holdings Co. LTD. and is your one-way ticket to some old school arcade ass kicking action. It is time to unleash special attacks and beat down every enemy in your path.

It is time for some more retro-style gaming and the latest to drop onto the Android market is a game called OpenTyrian by developer Pelya. Pelya is actually a regular over at the Anddev.org forums and has released a few other games onto the market but none as slick as this one. This is your retro space shooter you’ve always wanted to have on your phone.
Gameloft’s release of 11 HD 3D games for higher end Android phones wasn’t as smooth as they probably wanted it to be. Between the DRM Policy that had to be changed because you were not allowed to re-download games you’ve purchased, some of the games not working properly on phones at release time and none submitted to Android market, it was a rough ride.
Guns’n’Glory is the newest release by game developer HandyGames. In Guns’n’Glory you are actually the bad guy, running a group of bandits who steal gold from settlers. It is a unique game in that it combines the action gaming genre with the gameplay style of a tower defense game making it a really interesting and dynamic game to play.
Crossfire is an interesting little game developed by Joinmobile and was just released onto the Android market today. Crossfire has you control three mechanical warriors on one side of the screen and battle it out with enemy mechanical warriors who are situated on the other side of the screen and once everyone is on the board you begin shooting at each other over a barrier, like Tennis.
You’re Ralph, a dog who cares about his bones. Unfortunately for you, you’ve lost them all and now you are running around trying to find them and what is worse is that you have a set amount of time to find them! That’s the basis for a new platform game called Ralph by Jadnet Games just released onto the Android market today in it’s Beta form.
We have been reporting on Angry Birds by developer Rovio ever since it was announced that it would be making it’s way over to the Android platform which was a couple of months ago. Since then we have posted updates about it and even a video showing Angry birds being played on a Droid. Well for all of you waiting for this game, your waiting is almost over.
