Android gamers have a few options when it comes to controller peripherals which include the Game Gripper, Wiimote support app so you can use your Wiimote with your phone to play games and eventually Zeemote will support Android in the future (it got delayed for some reason so it doesn’t support Android right now). IMGA is currently accepting mobile applications to be tested, weighted and judge against the top games out there for mobile platforms. IMGA has been in the mobile gaming awards mix for 7 years in which they have aimed “to recognize and reward the best innovator”.

The GTC (GPU Technology Conference) also ended this week and if you could take one thing away from it then it would have to be this little bit of information. 3D glasses-free gaming on Android is possible and will hopefully be coming in the near future. VDCC Round-up: Samsung Tablets and more

VDCC (Verizon Developer Community Conference) was fairly interesting on a few levels. First we found more proof that indeed Unreal Engine is heading for Android. Secondly, Asokan Thiyagajan who is the Director of Platforms & Technology Strategy for Samsung inadvertently revealed more details about the upcoming Samsung Tablets. Yes that is plural.

Angry Birds received a beta update today along with Fruit Ninja as well. Angry Birds was a bit bigger of an update while Fruit Ninja added another feature this morning.
