One of the most wanted racing games has finally made its way to Android. We inquired about this game coming to Android a while ago and were told there were no plans to bring it to Android. Apparently that has changed as EA has just released Real Racing 2 onto the Android Market.

EAi has been sniffing around for another purchase to add to their mobile line-up of acquisitions to strengthen their mobile gaming efforts. First is was the purchase of Chillingo last year, then recently Mobile Post Production Inc. Now they have let it be known that they will be acquiring Firemint and adding their skills to theirs.
GDC 2011 is only a few days away and as it gets closer, the rumors are starting to fly. One such rumor is that iOS developer Firemint is planning to unveil their Real Racing 2 game ported over to Android. Real Racing 2 has won multiple awards since its release onto the App Store and Firemint is now looking to unleash it onto Android as well.
Flying Aces, developed by Sticky Coding, is an air traffic control style game where you control the flight paths of airplanes to ensure all of them land safely at the airport. This is a touch based game where you draw lines for the airplanes to follow and has been one of the more popular games of this genre for awhile and now…it’s gone open source!
While going through the usual Android sites I tend to read during my morning habit of drinking a bunch of energy drinks, I happened to notice some news about recent (Pocket Gamers) Game of the Year winner Firemint, who won with their game Flight Control, having just issued a C&D Order to StickyCoding in regards to their game, Flying Aces.
