Hyperburner blasts into the Play Store. Bold, imaginative and fluid can describe this amazing tunnel runner.
Hyperburner arrived a few days ago for Android. It quietly sneaked into the Play Store. Don’t miss out on this well-crafted space tunnel runner. It is the creation of one talented individual named Patrick Cook, who is based in Sydney, Australia. The name of his studio is Bad Potion. What he has cooked up for your Android device is mesmerizing.
Sky Chasers is an enjoyable game. It hearkens back to the days of playing arcade games, just to see how high of a score you can get. The game is created by independent game studio Lucky Kat Studios. Lucky Cat Studios is based in the Hague, Netherlands. The game is free-to-play in a good way, and has an adorable protagonist in Max. You can’t go wrong downloading this game.

Ketchapp has a knack for working with extremely talented game designers. Their latest collaboration with Bento Studios out of Lyon, France, is another successful pairing in my opinion. After firing up the game Escape, you are immediately thrust into an achingly beautiful world. Unfortunately, you have to pilot your rocket through perilous environments. In the midst of such beauty, will be death and destruction… over and over again.
Every now and then you come across a game that checks all the boxes for enjoyable game play. The game has a character that you care about, it is fun to play, and the graphics and music are done just right. Funkoi LLC, nails it with their latest release, Kiwi Wonderland. Though the genre of endless runners is definitely flooded, this game will definitely serve as a life preserver. It simply is a joy to play.
Nitrome has made a follow-up to their popular title 8-Bit Doves. In the same glorious, and almost monochromatic fashion, they have released Endless Doves into the Play Store. Yes, let all the Flappy Bird comparisons begin. In this case, I don’t think they are really warranted. The quality of this extraordinarily difficult game is unmatched in its control, atmosphere and personality. It is a straightforward game, that is as challenging as Wave, Wave to play, by Noodlecake Games. However, accepting failure with this title, is much easier, because of the delightful touches the designers have placed in the game. Endless Doves should be downloaded for the attention to detail alone. The graphics are a throwback to the early days of Nintendo Gameboys.
Retro Wings: Flappy Plane Aces is a game from 8-Bit Gamestudio out of Bangkok, Thailand, and developer Arkavis. 8-Bit Gamestudio continues with their latest release Retro Wings, which follows Retry Bird and Retry Run, which are already available in the Play Store. As you may have guessed, this game is in the same genre as Flappy Bird. It is difficult and full of beautiful pixels, but does not feel punishing, because of the excellent game controls. If you enjoy challenging games, then take flight with Retro Wings to see how far you can get.
