Released back in August 2011 by EA, Madden NFL 2012 is the newest addition to EA’s Madden line of football games. Surprisingly this was released to all devices at first, something EA doesn’t tend to do often. Now in a recent update though they have added support for the Xperia Play controls along with some other little tweaks.

Full Fat Games is continuing their push onto the Android platform with their “Flick” titles with the release of a new game called NFL Flick Quarterback. As the name suggests, you’ll be able to play as the Quarterback for your favorite NFL team.

Yesterday we reported on NaturalMotion Games gearing up to release NFL Rivals onto Android today. Well today has arrived and so has NFL Rivals onto the Android Market. NaturalMotion Games acquired a license from the NFL so now you can play as your favorite team but that certainly isn’t the best part.
NaturalMotion, developers of the Backbreaker series of games for Android and iOS, has announced a new football game coming our way called NFL Rivals. With this new title they have secured a license from the NFL to use the actual teams in-game but that isn’t even the best part!
About a month ago we mentioned that EA confirmed the continuation of the Madden series on mobile devices including Android. For those of you who have been waiting for this day to arrive, you can now get down and dirty with Madden 12 from EA as it has launched today on the market.
Keeping on with the Xperia Play news this morning, word is out about the upcoming FIFA installment that should be landing on Android soon. FIFA 12 by EA, when it is released, will be exclusive to the Xperia Play for the usual one month time period after which it will be available for all Android devices.
Gameloft has released another promo video for one of their upcoming games. No it isn’t another awesome 9mm trailer nor is it another Silent Ops video. This one is sports themed and basically lets us know that Real Football 2012 is on it’s way to Android soon.
EA has confirmed that the new addition to the Madden series of football games will be coming to multiple platforms including Android at some point next month. They also announced that Need for Speed: Shift 2 would be coming as well but only for iOS for now unfortunately.
Speaking of Backbreaker Football, NaturalMotion Games has just launched part two of the Backbreaker series. Backbreaker 2: Vengeance bring with it more hard hitting football action but this time, instead of being the one dodging tackles, you are the one doing the hard hitting. Time to dish out some punishment!
