A new Kickstarter campaign has recently gone live as of a couple of days ago for a new football game which was inspired by some classic titles like Tecmo Bowl. Being developed by Run Games LLC, Football Heroes is a hybrid football / beat ’em up / RPG title that will be making its way to Android devices when it launches. The Kickstarter campaign also offers some rather unique rewards for helping with the funding for the game.

Full Fat games have made themselves a name on Android with their flick games. Other than Agent Dash, which we reported about some time ago, all of their titles are known for their use of flick movements, mostly to control balls (golf balls, rugby balls and footballs). Well, they’re coming back this time with yet another NFL game called NFL Kicker 13.
Similar to Call of Duty Elite where you can change load-outs and other items on your Android phone or tablet, EA’s upcoming Madden 13 game for consoles has been announced during their press conference and part of that announcement includes the ability to manage teams on your phone or tablet.
Sega has brought over and just released their best-selling (and the world’s best selling) football management game onto the Google Play store. Officially named Football Manager handheld 2012, you will be assuming almost total control over whatever team you choose from a variety of leagues.
If you happen to be as old as I am, and I am not that old, then you have had a chance to play a lot of the handheld LED games from back in the day. One of the more popular ones happened to be the Mattel LED Football game which originally hit the store shelves back in 1978. Well that game is now available on Android via the Amazon App Store.
The Super Bowl is drawing closer and closer to starting and with that football fans can get a little action going in the meantime as Full Fat Games has released another title in their ‘Flick’ series of games called NFL Flick Kicker. I bet you can’t guess what this game is about?
Since the countdown to the Super Bowl is underway, EA has decided now would be a good time to put up Madden NFL 12 for Android on sale for $0.99. This sale is for a limited time and is available on both the Android Market and through the EA Mobile store.
Gameloft has released two additional titles onto the Android Market in the past few days aside from Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation. Both of these new games, called Fantasy Town and NFL Pro 2012, are available as free downloads on the Android Market.
We have a two fold story relating to Gameloft right now. The first, of course, is their holiday giveaways to celebrate Thanksgiving. Every day from now until Cyber Monday Gameloft will announce one title on their Gameloft Android Twitter account and a random time during the day. When they announce whatever game is free, you will have two hours to grab it for your Android device but that certainly isn’t all either!
As it seems with any holiday that comes around, whether big or small, everyone loves to put their games on sale and EA is no exception to that rule. To say thank you to their Android fan base and to celebrate Thanksgiving, EA is offering a few titles for up to 40% off the regular price.
