Versus Space Battle, as noted in the title, is a head to head contest played between two players on the same device. There’s no better way to describe this game other than as air hockey, with a futuristic spin.

The Institute of Technology Development has released a game called the Incredible Circus Remix onto Android today. This game features Pierre, who happens to be the human cannonball of the circus, who had the unique opportunity to slingshot and bounce through some pretty interesting levels.
Conquer Age, a strategy CCG, has been released onto Google Play, according to developer/publisher TOAST. Developed by 4PLAT and published by NHN Entertainment Corp. (did you follow all of that?), Conquer Age is a CCG where players can form nations, enlist other players, and attempt to build an empire, using over 450 unique hero cards that are apparently inspired from history. Their presser names Guan Yu, Leonidas, and the Barbarian goddess Bonacheya as a few of the heroes.
Art Castle has brought their popular iOS game called Trouble With Robots over to Android. This is an action-based strategy TCG title but unlike a lot of TCG titles, this one doesn’t have hundreds of cards to collect. This is mainly due to the fact that Trouble With Robots isn’t just about collecting cards and doing the usual style of battle with them.
Back in December 2014 we reported on Sonic Runners coming to mobile this year which is being developed by the Sonic Team instead of SEGA actually doing it. Unfortunately, when we reported on the game, there were very little details available at that time. In fact there basically wasn’t any at all. Today we have a bit more to go on including an actual trailer.
Neural Diver is a futuristic themed arcade game where players combat viruses in cyber space. However, instead of doing it like we do in this day and age, with anti-virus programs and firewalls, in the future they use elite soldier called Neural Divers who have been trained to detach their minds from their bodies in order to enter cyber space.
Amazon’s Appstore has a pretty good game up today for their daily Free App Of The Day feature. Today it is Handy Games’ fantasy-themed title called Guns ‘n’ Glory Heroes. The interesting thing about this game, aside from the fact it is fun to play, is that it is the only title in the Guns ‘n’ Glory franchise that isn’t a tower defense game, at least according to the developers. Instead it is labeled as an Action-RPG title.
There is a lot of talk lately that Rovio is having a less then stellar time right now with revenue. Many sites including ours have reported on it and it is basically due to the fact that you can only do so much with a franchise like Angry Birds before it gets tired and old. The company has relied so heavily on that franchise that it is now seeing less money than it has in some time. Of course they are still making a lot of money, just not as much as they used to make.
Blizzard’s popular TCG called Hearthstone was finally released onto Android back in December 2014 along with the new Goblins vs Gnomes content update for the game on all platforms. For everyone who had been waiting for this game to arrive but happen to not own a tablet, launch day for Hearthstone was a bit of a bitter sweet time. It meant that the game is finally out but for tablets only, putting it one step closer to having the game optimized for Android phones but without a tablet (or supported phablet) you still have to wait.
Game Insight publishes a decent amount of games on Android and usually they are pretty good to play. Their newest release is called Maritime Kingdom and while this is a city-building strategy game, instead of it being heavily land-locked it is actually mostly based on a naval theme.
