NOX Audio has been making some of the better audio headsets for awhile now and this week at CES 2011 they are planning to unveil what is probably one of the more unusual technology mash-ups but yet very cool in its own right. The Admiral Touch is a new gaming headset that features a 2.4″ touchscreen which runs Android.
As you may or may not know, we here at DroidGamers are based out of Las Vegas, NV with staff from various parts of the USA and Europe. Our first major event coverage which we will be there is this years CES 2011! You can expect a lot of coverage regarding all things Android and Android gaming related.
What week wouldn’t be complete without some sort of new information regarding the Sony Android Playstation phone, the Zeus/Z1/Xperia Play depending on what you believe it’ll be called. This week it is showing up though holding hands with an Xperia X10 to give you an idea of the scale/size of this Android device.
Lots, and I mean lots, of you have been asking us if we know when HyperDevBox’s new Tactical RPG, called Spectral Souls, is going to be released. This is a massive 1GB sized game featuring full 3D graphics and insanely deep gameplay. Well we just got word back from our friends over at HyperDevBox about Spectral Souls release.
Well not sure how this worked out but it seems someone has gotten a hold of Worms for Android already. Over at XDA, a user named Silviantrius has posted some screenshots of the game along with a nice little video of it running on an HTC Desire with Android 2.2. Interestingly enough, the user is saying that it is available.
Osaris Games has developed a couple of 3D games for Android already named JumpyBall 3D and SpaceChallenge 3D. Both of those games are pretty good 3D titles to play but it seems as though Osaris Games wanted to come out with something better. Combining all that they have learned, they released TurboFly 3D.
To start off the new year in the interviews department, we decided to hit up Spacetime Studios who developed the hugely popular cross-platform MMORPG, Pocket Legends. We talk about upcoming content, the Android in-game costume and a new game?! Read on to find out more!
More 3D Android games coming our way! Haypi Co., Ltd., developers of hit cross-platform MMO Haypi Kingdom announced around Christmas via their magazine that they have another game in the works. This game will be named Haypi Adventure and as I said earlier, this will be a 3D game.
Via a Twitter update, Mika Mobile provided us with the inside scoop that their currently unreleased Tactical RPG called “Battleheart” was built from the ground up using the Unity Engine with cross-platform porting in mind, making an Android release likely. How soon after an iOS release will we see it on our devices?
