Google launched the Indie Corner on Google Play back in February of this year, and each week or so it features some of the newer and best indie games that are available on Google Play. This week’s list is actually quite a good one, with 15 pretty great indie titles being showcased.

Released by Dodozen, To The Castle is a new platformer for Android. In this game, players will assume the role of Sir Petrionius, as he journeys through sixty different levels that are distributed throughout three different worlds. This game has no story to speak of, as it’s really just focuses on players getting the knight from one end of a given level to the other.
If you enjoy the visual style of games like Limbo, Firefly, or Dark Lands than you’ll be happy to know there is a new one that has just landed on Google Play called Toby: The Secret Mine. This game features the same sort of silhouette style graphics with a singular colored background, but a lot more details than in most of those other games we just mentioned.
Pokemon Camp arrives onto Android with all kinds of Pokemon-themed activities available to try your hand at
The Pokemon International Company has released a new game in the Pokemon franchise called Pokemon Camp. This particular game is all about wandering the island and trying your hands at different activities found on said island, all which involve Pokemon. While the Pokemon franchise is for kids, this game is a little more kid focused than most of the other Pokemon titles.
Released by Isotope 244 LLC, the same developer behind Land, Air, Sea War, Machines at War 3 is a new RTS game released on the Android platform. In this game, players will command a military contingent, tasked with recovering a cabal of researchers who’ve disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
Released by Haywire Apps, SlideBall is a simple game about keeping a ball aloft for as long as possible. The idea is for players to draw platforms on to the screen, that help keep the ball aloft. Players can draw straight lines or curves (that function as ramps) and the ball will follow the drawn path.
[Update: Game Released] Turn-based dungeon crawler Dungenious will be landing on Android next week
Next week on April 14th is turning into a pretty busy release day for Android games and there are even more being announced for that Thursday, with the newest title being Dungenious. Developed by Noizoo Games, this turn-based dungeon crawler is actually a bit of an unusual hybrid game, meshing dungeon crawler with RPG mechanics and a quiz system.
TapStar Interactive has published their newest game, which was developed by T-Rex Games, called Immortal Legends. This particular game is a hybrid title meshing together tower defense and Action-RPG mechanics. All of this is themed around Chinese mythology, with characters such as the Monkey King and Tripitaka the Monk.
Several months ago, I came across a neat looking puzzle game starring a little robot named PR8. It looked to have the right mix of puzzle elements, sleek graphics and an interesting story. I sent a query to the game developer about it, and was elated to hear that it was coming to Android. Unfortunately, I lost track of it with so many games being released for Android so far this year. However, I received an email today saying that AfterLoop from eXiin is now live in the Play Store. I couldn’t be more pleased to see it arrive.
Yesterday the alpha test version of Minecraft Realms for Minecraft: Pocket Edition launched and of course we have to get a server for our readers to come play on, build stuff, and hang out on. There are a couple of limitations to Minecraft Realms, mainly that there’s no modding available just yet and there is a limit of 10 users who can be playing at any given time. You can, however, have up to 200 invited users per server. This is why we are saying our ‘first’ server, as we will probably end up needing more in order to accommodate everyone.
