Rovio, makers of all things avian and angry, have released a new game into the Angry Birds franchise called Angry Birds Action! The game is currently being rolled out softly in a few select regions, so I haven’t had the opportunity to try it out yet. That being said, the game fits the mold of prior releases, where players will pull back on Red, and then let him loose to bounce around a variety of outdoor structures (sound familiar yet?), to see what can be taken down.

Indie developers Yadon Studio have released their newest game onto Android today, which is a survival title called The Abandoned. Published by Gaijin Entertainment, the folks behind War Thunder, this game is a single-player adventure title where your goal is to survive while trying to keep your character’s sanity in place.
Starting today, you can download Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on Shield Android TV and enjoy a pivotal chapter in the story of Pandora. Borderlands 2, launched in 2012, was what you might call “a big deal.” The series had earned itself a number of fans ahead of that point, certainly, but the second installment in the series brought with it an explosion in popularity. Earlier this month Nintendo revealed that pre-registration for their first official mobile game release, called Miitomo, would be starting soon. Well ‘soon’ has finally arrived as pre-registration for Miitomo has gone live. There are a couple of ways you can pre-register for Miitomo as well.
Glu Games continues its foray into the sports genre. Tap Sports Baseball 2016 is now available to download in the Google Play Store. Swing batter swing! If you have played any of the Tap Sports series, you know that the game play is quick, fun and generally engaging.
[Update: Game Released] BulkyPix will be launching Flail Rider onto Android at the end of March
Catpancake and BulkyPix have teamed up for a new game called Flail Rider for Android devices which will be heading to Google Play at the end of this month. This particular game is a top-down driving and wrecking game where the goal is all about destroying stuff… a lot of stuff, and as fast as you can.
Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 tabletop war gaming series has seen several successful outings in video game form, one of the most popular being Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. Unlike the strategy-based source material, however, this particular iteration takes the form of a third-person action shooter. And now Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is available to stream on Nvidia Shield with a GeForce Now membership.
