We haven’t had a good WTF type of article in a couple of weeks and so it was refreshing to see that there was something we could write about today for you to contemplate over while drinking your morning coffee. Granted this isn’t Android related but it is still pretty awesome and could easily be done on Android.
Diversion is an interesting game that was released onto the Android Market about 4 days ago by developers EZone. Diversion is a 3D platform game where you run through each stage, collecting gems and jumping/swim/fly over gaps and obstacles until you reach the end zone.
Glu Mobile’s extremely popular game for Android, called Gun Bros, has been suffering from one fatal flaw, the lack of Brotherhood and Bro-op. With iOS recently getting the update, which was promised to be arriving as early as February, gamers have been waiting a long time to get their bro-mances going.
Gameloft’s upcoming Max Payne-ish type game, called 9mm, has had a few trailers and video previews put out for us to enjoy. Everyone seems to enjoy watching these and, for the most part, are pretty excited to play the game. Well we also now have more information about the game itself as well.
Fieldrunners HD for Android which landed yesterday on both the Amazon App Store and the Android Market has already received it’s first update. While the initial release of Fieldrunners HD for Android worked well on Android phones, tablets were not readily supported… until now.
Back in April we previewed a platform game that will be coming to Android called Roboto. This game features some great 3D graphics made using Unity3D and some unique gameplay. Well the developers, FenixFire, have released a new trailer as well as new information about Roboto including a release date.
Today Amazon’s App Store for Android has a great new game by Halfbrick called Age of Zombie as their free app/game of the day. In this game you will be traveling through different periods in time to kill zombies. Yes, that includes zombie dinosaurs!
Sony has released a couple more Playystation One classic games onto the Android Market for the Xperia Play. Syphon Filter 3 and WipEout are both now available for purchase for fans of the originals to play. We should mentioned that Sony should take a few lessons though on how to take good screenshots.
Storm8, if you don’t know who they are, are like Zynga in that they are a social casual game company but unlike Zynga, who is just getting into mobile gaming, Storm8 has been focused on the mobile gaming arena for awhile. Storm8 already has 8 titles available for free on the Android Market and today they are announcing three more.
Star Legends MMORPG has been out for slightly over 24 hours in a limited beta and already the crew over at Spacetime Studios has released the third patch for the game. While mostly containing bug fixes and improvements to existing features (as you would expect with a beta), there are some new sounds for emotes as well.
