Qualcomm outs their next generation Snapdragon 800 and 600 mobile processors

Earlier this week we provided a lot of coverage on nVidia’s latest mobile chipset that is the Tegra 4. Now we would like to share with you what Qualcomm has in store for us – two new next-generation mobile processors known as the Snapdragon 800 and 600 respectively. What’s really special about both these processors is their insane clock speed – 1.9GHz in the case of the 600 and a whopping 2.3GHz in the case of the 800.

The 5 Most Disappointing Games of 2012

2012 saw lots of fantastic games arriving on Android, and as such in terms of gaming Android enjoyed a healthy growth. Some of them were original ones, while others were ports from other platforms or classic hits. Anyway, I’ve decided to compile my five most disappointing games that came out in 2012. Just a slight note – disappointing here doesn’t necessarily mean that the game isn’t good, but merely that it turned out to be something lesser than what I expected.

Shaquille O’Neal stars in his own post-apocalyptic zombie game ShaqDown

As if there aren’t already enough zombie games flying around on Google Play, you can now thank former NBA basketball star Shaquille O’Neal for adding one more game to that menacing list with ShaqDown. Developed by Hiptic Games, this is a game with a simple kind of design where you jump between three levels and take on hordes of zombies by throwing a basketball and unleashing a special power.

[CES2013] nVidia officially reveals GRID, their answer to standardize and improve cloud gaming

nVidia had a lot to say this year during their press conference which was one of the longer ones we’ve ever attended. Along with their announcement of Tegra 4, which is now official, and Project Shield, there portable Android gaming system, and showcasing some of the upcoming Tegra 4 games like Dead Trigger 2. Also announced was nVidia’s GRID, their answer to improving cloud gaming.
