While this doesn’t come as a huge surprise considering that all the Galaxy S phones so far include SRs 5.1 Mobile for surround sound, it is still a noteworthy announcement considering that up until now there was no word on what sort of audio we can expect with the Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Another day another update, that seems to be the trend right now regarding the rumored Sony Android Playstation phone, not that we are complaining. Today’s update comes in the form of more pictures, some of which show a few more of the current specs that are at least being used in this prototype version that is being photographed.
While not a complete denial regarding the rumored Android Playstation Phone that has been under development, leaked, rumored about and basically beat down with a stick, Sony during their earnings call were asked about whether this device was real. Instead of answering with a denial of its existence, Sony talked about how it would happen.
Before diving into this update about the Sony Android Playstation phone which has basically split the gaming world in half as to whether it is real or not, please remember that yesterday Sony was claiming the pictures Engadget posted were fake, not that the device was fake. The only people to claim the device doesn’t exist was Sony Ericsson.
We are not going to go over all the accessories available for the Samsung Galaxy Tablet that is slated to be released as soon as next month here in the USA. However, going through the fairly good sized list of released accessories for the Galaxy Tablet, there are a few as a gamer that you will absolutely want to get if you plan on doing some serious gaming.

Samsung has announced that they are reaching out to developers on the android market to improve existing applications to work with the higher resolution screen in their newest product, the Galaxy Tab. Samsung also say that soon the tablet will be receiving Android 3.0 Gingerbread which should be better suited to 3D gaming and have a more tablet friendly user interface.
If you follow Android news at all, then you are probably already aware of this, but T-Mobile has officially unveiled the G2. The successor to the G1, the G2 offers a huge improvement in just about every area over it’s older brother. With the Droid 2 and the Samsung Epic 4G both sporting keyboards as well, the question is if the G2 be able to compete with them in terms of gaming.
Orion will include 1080p video decoding and encoding at 30 frames/second, support for 3 active displays, HDMI and GPS on chip. Orion is set to replace the processor codenamed Hummingbird in Galaxy S devices like the Vibrant, Captivate, Epic 4G and Fascinate. It will be sold to OEMs and be offered to select customers in the first half of 2011.
Qualcomm – creator of the snapdragon platform announces the next generation of their processors which include the newest mobile GPU, known as the Adreno 205 to compete with the Galaxy S devices. In the last year or so the processors in smartphones have become an important part of marketing the newest breed of ‘superphones’.
