Back in August of last year a rather unique game got released called Reigns. Since then it has done pretty well for itself, so much so that the original game will be getting an expansion of sorts, adding new cards to the game. On top of that, there will also be a sequel for Reigns coming out soon that will allow players to play as a Queen.

Tiny Epic Studios have released their old school style platformer in select regions today on Android called Samurai Saga. This game actually has a bit of a older Shinobi style to it with regards to its gameplay, although the visuals are a little more up-to-date, and it comes with a physics engine in it as well.
Indie developers going by the name of RebelApes have released their first title onto Android over the holidays called Highway Traffic Racer Planet. This particular game is an endless racing title where players will be able to choose from a variety of vehicles before setting out to see how far they can get.
First of all I just want to say Happy New Years to everyone out there in the Android gaming land. Hopefully everyone had a great holiday and will have a fantastic 2017. Over the next few days we will be getting back into the full swing of things. It looks like the same goes for developers as this week has plenty of Android releases in store for us including the Mega Man ports arriving on January 5th. In the meantime some indie developers have launched their games and ESTIMAN is one of them, coming from Kool2Play.
Oops! Studios has given us their take on pinball. With sequentially rising pairs of paddles you have one task; keep the ball above them. It’s an interesting spin on an old standby, one that I happen to love. The old and the new, to be clear.
While not being especially groundbreaking, 18: Dream world has a special charm that could appeal fans of the match-3 puzzle genre. 18: Dream world is a chain puzzle game by GameSamba. Players connect chains of similar gem-like objects to defeat enemies in each stage. Throughout the game, you collect divers with different abilities and form teams to help sleeping beauties by defeating the witches keeping them in a coma.
Kairosoft, known for their ‘story’ style sim games, has decided to jump into the holiday game sale spirit by offering up some of their original Android releases for a sale price, ranging from 60-80% off their regular prices. In total there are 5 games that have been discounted down to pricing between $0.99-$1.25.
Kemco is ringing in the new year with a sale on some of their premium apps. Note that it doesn’t say how long this sale will last, so take this chance to fill your library with any titles you may have missed this past year. All of them are fairly well reviewed, and even if they’re cookie cutter RPG’s the price is right.
Everyone has a pretty good opinion about what Mega Man should be like on any platform. This is doubly true for mobile devices, and once everyone saw the gameplay preview video for the upcoming mobile ports of the first six Mega Man games, a lot of people became concerned about the performance that was witnessed in that video.
The 2016 Kickstarter for Mars Underground nears its end. Mars Underground is the story of Mars’ first day at a new school. It’s also the same day the world ends. And he’s stuck in an infinite time loop reliving it over and over and over like the film Groundhog’s Day, by way of two of the most beloved SNES games of all time, Earthbound and Chrono Trigger.
