Like Minecraft? Dig Call of Duty? Well there is good news on the horizon as a new game will be making its way to Android soon called Brick Force. This game essentially combines Minecraft’s creative mode with the FPS style of gaming found in titles like Call of Duty to make awesomeness.
Fans of Kairosoft and their free time draining ‘Story’ series of games may soon yet have another addicting addition to the series coming your way. The Japanese version of RPG Story just landed on the Android Market which should make both RPG and Sim game fans giddy with joy.
OrangePixel, one of the awesome developers of retro-style games, has decided to play DynamoKid and MiniArmy into their OrangePixel ‘Classics’ category. This means that both games are now available for free on the Android Market.
For those that currently own the Transformer Prime may want to brace your selves: ASUS may soon release a device to replace Prime. While this might sound like the updated Prime Asus announced back at CES that apparently isn’t the case.
There are gamers, hardcore gamers, and then there are the exclusive Ultra Gamers. If you constantly game everywhere and at anytime (wash your hands) then consider yourself the latter. As an Ultra Gamer your title isn’t complete without plastic peripherals. Unfortunately, game peripherals for mobile devices can be a bit lacking (with the exception of Nokia’s upcoming 9mm pocket friendly, n9xxx).
One game we have talked about coming to Android a few times in the past is a zombie game called Zombie Wonderland 2: Outta Time. Developed by Xoobis, this survival / tower defense / action zombie game comes with plenty of zombie killing action.
If it seems like we’re picking on Gameloft today out of pure hate, that isn’t the case. Gameloft games are top notch and most contain polish and work that rival console companies. With that being said, they’re just easy to pick on in terms of Android support.
We don’t do a lot of posting regarding contests elsewhere on the internet but this one is rather large and getting more Android devices into people hands is always a good thing too. With that said, ZAGG is giving away a Kindle Fire every day for the month of February.
Mojo Bones have just released their unique platformer called Tongue Tied! onto the Android Market. This could be considered a new type of gaming genre. We have physics-based puzzle games and now with Tongue Tied! we have a physics-based platformer as well.
