I decided to do something a bit different for this review. Instead of reviewing each game separately, I am going to do a side by side comparison of these games to see which one is the “better” kingdom. Today I am looking at We Rule by ngmoco and Miracle City Online by DroidHen. Let the battle begin!
A few weeks ago we talked about a game coming from Naoplay called MetroJoust which is an interesting modern day jousting game. Naoplay has finally released a video preview for this game which shows off what the graphics will look like, some of the features and a peek at what the gameplay as well.
Back in the beginning of November Sega had announced that Sonic CD for Android would not be coming with support for the Xperia Play. It now appears that Sega has changed their minds and when Sonic CD is released onto the Android Market, it will support the Xperia Play controls.
OnLive doesn’t officially support the Xperia Play controls, at least not yet but thanks to a new app on the Android Market there is some good news for Xperia Play owners who wish to use the controls that come with the device. This new app is called the OnLive Helper app.
So just a few days ago Rovio’s now world dominating, life infiltrating, time devouring physics-based puzzle game Angry Birds was released. Since then it has been download more than 500 million times in total across all the platforms it’s available on. To celebrate it’s 2 year birthday, Rovio has released an update that comes with a few neat things.
So we only have a few more days left in this promotion Google is putting on to celebrate 10 billion downloads on the Android Market. Today is Day 7 of the 10 day promo sale and once again we have a selection of new titles that will only cost your a shiny new dime.
Mediocre has just announced that they have pushed out an update for the Winter season for their hit physics-based puzzle game Sprinkle. The update brings with it 12 new levels all themed around the Winter season which includes some really cool new game mechanics.
The headline may sound weird as we are talking about Microsoft releasing something onto the Android Market and not referring to any lawsuits but rest assured it is correct. Microsoft has released the Halo Waypoint application onto the Android Market which comes with the ATLAS service for Halo: Reach.
Unfortunately there is a bit of bad news today if you happen to own a Samsung Galaxy SII device and were hoping to play Grand Theft Auto III when it’s released for Android. Rockstar Games has come out to confirm that it will not be supporting that particular device.
