Peter Molyneux’s game development studio 22 Cans has been working on Godus since early 2013. It has finally been finished and is now available on Google Play for those of you who feel the need to play God. This particular game has players becoming a god-like deity who will be will be shaping their kingdom and lands.
Since the inception of Peter Molyneux and his studio 22Cans’ Curiosity: What’s Inside The Cube game, everyone has been wondering what the prize is at the center of the cube. For those of you unfamiliar with this game, Curiosity was a social experiment type of game where everyone playing the game happen to be chipping away at a giant cube. The person to strike the last hit on the cube to access the center would receive a prize that, as Peter Molyneux described, would be life changing.
We reported a few times in the past that Peter Molyneux’s studios 22Cans, the folks responsibly for the Curiosity game, happen to be working on a new game called Godus. This particular game is sort of a mix between Populous and Dungeon Keeper with 3D visuals to round everything off.
22 Cans is already working on their next game after having sucked the world free time away with their first release called Curiosity: What’s Inside The Cube?. We have actually talked about this game already a few times in the past few weeks but for those of you who missed our previous coverage of Godus, this is what you can expect from 22 Cans next title.
Peter Molyneux and his 22 Cans studio are already working on a new game which they recently hit up Kickstarter with for additional funding to get the game completely. A cross between Populous and Dungeon Keeper, this game will be a blend of playing as a God-like deity, shaping your kingdom and lands, while meshing into it rather deep multiplayer gameplay.
While everyone sits around whacking away at a giant cube in the hopes of being the person to land the last hit which will then reveal the secret within the cube, Peter Molyneux and his studio called 22 Cans are already working on their next game called Godus. Once again they have hit up Kickstarter to get funding for this new project which has nothing to do with whacking or cubes.
