Just days after Google announced its latest iteration of the popular Chromecast streaming device, Amazon has made an announcement of its own; Amazon sellers are banned from selling any version of the device, or its peer, the Apple TV. The move demonstrates just how serious Amazon is about bolstering its own streaming service, but that hasn’t stopped Amazon from offering a friendly spin that seems unrelated to competition.
At the beginning of September the Sphero BB-8 Star Wars themed app-enabled robot became available and pretty much everyone wanted one, even just to play with it for a minute. Well 3Doodler has now made the Sphero BB-8 Star Wars robot a series instead, with the BB-Luke, BB-Darth, BB-3PO and BB-Leia.
The other day Google announced two new Nexus phones during their Nexus event, the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X. Both are pretty solid entries into the Nexus brand, with the Nexus 5X in particular being an upgraded version of LG’s previous Nexus 5. Since the original announcement, all that has really been known about the launching of either device is that pre-orders are live now, and that they would be shipping out later this month.
