It’s the end of another week and while we have a lot of work ahead of us here to get ready for launching more new features over the next few days, including our new site design, there is always time for a round-up of Android games on sale.

Modoc Development has released a pretty big update for their geometry-style arcade game called Don’t Blink. The new update brings with it a big overhaul to the visuals, adjustments to local multiplayer, and adjustments to how the multipliers work.
[Update: Game Released] Sega announces that their upcoming Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom will be arriving soon on a global level
Back in July 2015 Sega announced, then subsequently did a location-specific soft launch, for their upcoming sequel to Sonic Dash. This sequel, which is officially titled Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom, now has the official word from Sega that it will be launching globally onto mobile devices soon.

Released by Subliminal, Sky Pets is set to drop on Android on October 8th. Sky Pets is an endless “faller”, where players are looking to see how long they can maintain their character’s free fall, without colliding into any hazards such as floating pieces of earth, airplanes that wiz by, or weather patterns.
At the beginning of September the Sphero BB-8 Star Wars themed app-enabled robot became available and pretty much everyone wanted one, even just to play with it for a minute. Well 3Doodler has now made the Sphero BB-8 Star Wars robot a series instead, with the BB-Luke, BB-Darth, BB-3PO and BB-Leia.
[Update: Game Released] The Crossy Road follow-up called Shooty Skies is getting an Android version
Since the original announcement of the Crossy Road follow-up game Shooty Skies, its has been pretty much referenced with iOS devices so far, with very little in the way of an Android version being talked about. Well as it turns out, there will be an Android version after all and it is actually being worked on.
gumi has been working on and teasing a new mobile game for a bit now called Phantom of the Kill. The company has already shown an early build of the game off at a couple of shows including the Anime Expo 2015. Next week gumi will be in New York at the upcoming NYCC 2015 to show off Phantom of the Kill once again.
Set to take place in the afterlife, Afterland is a game about a band of “misfits” that have lost their souls. This group of castoffs will travel about as a carnival that performs magic, in order to regain the souls that they’ve lost. An interesting facet of the game’s backstory is a play on how or why each character came to be a misfit.
Super Evil Megacorp has released a new update for their popular mobile MOBA title Vainglory, bringing the game’s version to 1.9. Aside from some new additions to the game, the 1.9 update also is the start of the new Autumn eSports Season for Vainglory teams as well.
