Gameloft has released an announcement but this is one of those rare ones where it doesn’t pertain to a specific game getting released or one of their titles getting a big content update. Instead this announcement has to do with optimizing their games, or more specifically, optimizing all of their games for devices that use Intel’s Architecture.

Gameloft has announced that it will be bringing support for Intel-based Android devices to some of their most popular HD games currently available. If you plan on buying an Intel-based Android device when they start hitting the market soon, at least you will have a few games already supported.
One of the first items we walked right into when the doors open yesterday was the Intel booth and there they had a prototype of their upcoming Intel Android tablet. Coming from Lenovo, this particular tablet will be running Ice Cream Sandwich when it is released.
Aurora Feint, developers of OpenFeint, seems to have gotten a new investor and as the title suggests it is ‘sort of’ Intel. Actually it is Intel Capital, which is the the investment branch of the Intel corporation similar to that of Google Ventures. This investment will help Aurora Feint push more great games and content to more mobile devices including Android.
