Yesterday we reported on a rather cool looking FPS game from Craneballs Studios called Overkill. Since we posted about it a lot of people had been wondering why it wasn’t compatible on their particular device(s) and were unable to play it. Here is an update regarding that.
Barely 24 hours after posting that PopCap’s two hit games, Peggle and Plants vs Zombies, happen to be on their way to the Android Market they actually show up and are now available for download. Up until now both games had been exclusive to the Amazon App Store.
We only have two days left of this ten day promo from Google to celebrate passing the 10 billion downloads mark on the Android Market. Today is Day 9 and we have all new apps and games available for a mere dime and today’s selection is pretty good.
A rather popular Chinese smartphone MMORPG called Rebels & Rulers will be making it’s way to Android in a fully localized English version soon. Currently sporting around 5 million players, Rebels & Rulers is originally known as Latent Dragon and this will be the first time this MMORPG has broken into the western gaming scene.
PopCap has just announced that they will finally be releasing both Plants vs Zombies and Peggle on the Android Market later this week. This comes finally after a very long exclusive period on the Amazon App Store where both games were originally released.
You may remember back near the beginning of Google’s 10 billion downloads promotion that we reported on Amazon doing the same thing with any of the apps that happen to be on their App Store as well as the Android Market. In case you forgot though, this is a friendly reminder along with the current titles available for a dime.
A new game has just appeared on nVidia’s Tegra Zone called The Dark Meadow. Developed by Phosphor Games Studios, this upcoming game is a rather dark, thriller type of single-player FPS title which is being built using Unreal Engine 3 and will be available for Android devices sporting a Tegra chipset.
Craneballs Studios have released their FPS (frist-person shooter) game called Overkill onto the Android Market. It comes complete with plenty of blood to enjoy and plenty of weapons to play around with while shooting enemies in the face.
There is a new game recently released onto the Android Market that when you first read the description you can’t help but think to yourself “WTF?”. This game is called Pepe’s Conchita and in this game you play as Pepe who really really loves the cow he has to protect named Conchita.
A little bit of bad news today for anyone waiting to get their hands on Sonic CD for Android without having to go but a tablet from GameStop. Unfortunately Sega has confirmed that it will be delayed until early 2012 for Android devices even though the iOS version is set to be released tomorrow.
