As a fan of the Catan board game, this app is one that I have been looking forward to. Soon after it first came out, there was a lot chatter online about what is wrong with the app, lack of features…this definitely peaked my interested. Well I got a copy and have been giving it a run.

I have to admit, I simply stumbled upon this game but I am glad I did! I really enjoy Catan and was doing some online research into when Catan was going to hit the Android Market. During my searching, I saw numerous people mentioning the game, Carcassonne. Curious, I did decided to find out about it.
When I first saw this game, it reminded me of another game I used to play called Tradewinds. I really enjoyed that game, sailing the seas, plundering, trading, battling…well Age of Wind 2 by Galapagos is just as fun. We have been playing this game for weeks and still are not done. I have to fight my sons for time on the game too!
Alawar Games may not be a name you are instantly familiar with but they have actually made some pretty popular games that are on Android such as Farm Frenzy. One of the first games I ever played on my computer was Mahjong. It has become one of my favorite puzzle games. So when I get my DroidX, I decided to look for a Mahjong game to download. So how does this particular Majong game stack up against the plethora of other ones available?
Colosseum is a side-scrolling, hack-and-slash, arcade game in the same vein as Zombieville. The premise is simple: you move left and right through an arena, attacking the numerous and varied monsters that appear. These monsters drop gold and power-ups, and eventually a key which lets you continue onto the next level.
I should start off saying I am not a big tower defense game player but when I saw this game, I was intrigued by the name, logo, and the few screenshots I saw. After playing the game for a while, I have really came to like this game and definitely is one to be considered, especially if you like tower defense games.
