Sungrand is an Australia-based indie game studio that has released their first game onto Android called Animelee. This is a pretty interesting game in that Animelee is an arcade-style head-to-head brawler but instead of featuring different human characters to fight as, players will be assuming control of the animal they have chosen.
Customize and operate your very own arcade in Pocket Arcade Story by Kairosoft, now out on Google Play
For those who love sims with faux pixelation, Kairosoft has released yet another game to slake your thirst. Dubbed Pocket Arcade Story, players will look to build up their own Arcade, similar to what I’d wager many of us recall as children and the sheer amount of money in the form of quarters that we blew in those places.
Released by the same crew behind Super Bit Adventure, Balance is a new casual game for the Android platform. In Balance, players will be looking to collect boxes that fall from the sky. Near the bottom of the screen, there is a free floating platform that can spin upon its center, and players will need to manipulate this platform in order to successfully keep as many boxes as possible from sliding off of edge.
errorsevendev is an indie developer who has actually made quite a few good games for Android such as Volatiles and the Laserbreak series. Their newest game is a follow-up to a previous physics-based arcade puzzler called Hexasmash, which is appropriately named Hexasmash 2.
Sword Art Online will be getting a mobile game soon called Memory Defrag. Pre-registration is now live.
The very popular anime called Sword Art Online, which also has a couple of console games already and an upcoming VR MMORPG, will also be getting a mobile game in the near future called Sword Art Online: Memory Defrag. If you’re a fan of the franchise, like I am, then you probably just got a little giddy at ready that sentence.
Shadowverse by Cygames has expanded the release of their new TCG called Shadowverse. There is actually quite a bit of storyline to this particular game and it looks to take a lot of inspiration from Hearthstone, especially with how the creatures look when summoned. With that aside, it actually is a decent little TCG.
There is a virtual reality game that will be showcased at the Anime Expo 2016 next week which is called Nagomi’s Earcleaning VR. This game is an ear cleaning simulation game featuring an anime female who, after a long day at work, offers you the ability to enjoy a virtual ear cleaning which will apparently relax you.
Art in Games is based in Slovokia. They brought us the beautiful, immersive and action-filled game Air Attack. Though the game was released a few years ago, it still looks amazing. The follow up to Air Attack was hinted at last year. It made its way to iOS, and would arrive on Android eventually. I am not sure how long it has been out, but Air Attack 2 released quietly on Android within the last few weeks. It is just as fascinating and gorgeous as its predecessor. I have been playing it, but haven’t had an opportunity to write about it until now.
The Cartoon Network has released a new game onto Android, this time themed around the Teen Titans. Officially called Teeny Titans – Teen Titans Go!, since adding Go onto the name of a game is now the new thing to do, players will be assembling a team of Teen Titans in order to square off against other teams.
