Another quad-core Android device has decided to show up today, this time coming from LG. Currently we know of two quad-core devices in the works, one of which is from Fujitsu which we played with at CES 2012, and the second rumored to be from HTC. Now we have a third which is coming from LG called the X3.

We headed over to the LG Booth for our appointment and what we were really interested in was the new LG Spectrum HD LTE Android phone which is also coming with Super Street Fighter IV. That particular game also came with the LG Nitro and can only be played on an phone that has a true HD resolution display.
Verizon has just announced the latest addition to the Droid family of phones called the Droid 4. This new member of the family will come packing a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of Ram and 16GB of internal storage. To make it even more enticing to get, it is also an LTE phone.
Fujitsu has jumped into the realm of Android it seems and are not pulling any punches when it comes to the hardware they are stuffing into their, yet unnamed, Android device. This beastly Android phone will pack a Tegra 3 quad-core chipset and come complete with a healthy dose of Android 4.0.
Huawei has unveiled two new Android phones today called the Ascend P1 and Ascend P1 S, one of which is labeled as the world’s thinnest smartphone, at least for today. Considering this is CES we are sure there will be others touting their new devices under the same label of being the thinnest.
What could very well be a rather large screw up by someone over at Sprint, it appears that they will be getting a Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4G LTE version which will sport a rather beefy 1.5GHz chip stuffed inside of it. This bit of news is courtesy of an ad that is (still) appearing on CNet’s website regarding a Nikon camera.
Rumor is going around about the just leaked HTC Edge Android phone which will apparently have a quad-core Tegra 3 chip stuffed inside of it. Originally the Asus Padfone was rumored to be the first quad-core Android phone but now new information is pointing to that device being stuffed with the Snapdragon S4 chip instead.
When it comes to gaming, at least in the PC gaming world, it’s always nice to have the latest and greatest hardware. To a degree this holds true to Android as well considering there is a lot of similarities between the two. Android gamers who like to upgrade won’t have to wait long for that quad-core devices you’ve been wanting.
Our readers in Europe and Asia have one more device to consider when shopping for that new Android phone soon. Called the Samsung Galaxy R, this new phone is packed with a Tegra 2 dual-core chip inside it and comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread when you buy it.
