What could very well be a rather large screw up by someone over at Sprint, it appears that they will be getting a Samsung Galaxy Nexus 4G LTE version which will sport a rather beefy 1.5GHz chip stuffed inside of it. This bit of news is courtesy of an ad that is (still) appearing on CNet’s website regarding a Nikon camera.

Candy Box Studio is currently developing a game called Street Wrestling for iOS which will be published through Chillingo. This particular game should appeal to those who dig the fighting/brawling games similar in style to Double Dragon from back in the day.
We usually don’t make it a habit to post about rumors or what ‘sources say’ most of the time but when it comes to the idea of a Google branded tablet (think Nexus tablet), we can’t help but get a little excited at the thought of one. It would be about damn time too that Google made one.
Playphone has been really pushing their Android catalog lately it seems and the newest addition to the Playphone line of games is a title called Tanks vs Wizards. While not your typical ‘vs’ game, this particular one is actually a multiplayer artillery game.
Notch recently made a game for the 22nd Ludum Dare Competition back in December called Minicraft. The Ludum Dare Competition has game developer make a complete game in 48 hours and this was his entry into it. Well it seems on developer has made an unofficial port of Minicraft for Android devices.
Gameloft’s MMORPG for Android, called Order & Chaos, has received the latest content update today finally. Dubbed Update #4, this update features a new dungeon called Eristars’ Temple for high level characters. There are also some other new features and content that has come with this update.
EA has finally released a member of the Command & Conquer series of games onto the mobile platform for Android. Currently this is only available through their own EA Mobile storefront through your carrier, if you have the shortcut to the EA Store installed on your phone. In my case it is available for me on my LG G2X on T-Mobile.
Yesterday we talked about a new game coming from Triolith Entertainment called Megatroid which is a 3D platformer in similar style to the Megaman games. After playing it for a few minutes it really does reflect a lot of the mechanics found from Megaman including double jumping, wall jumping and wall grabbing.
More pre-CES 2012 news today as Qualcomm has announced that they will be launching the GamesCommand app we previously talked about a few weeks back. This will be the same type of app as Tegra Zone is but instead of showcasing Tegra games it will be showcasing Qualcomm Snapdragon games.
