OnLive has slowly been making moves to invade the Android gaming arena with it’s game streaming service. Yesterday during Uplinq 2011, they announced the Universal Wireless Controller. With this, you can play any of their games on any device that supports OnLive which includes Android tablets and phones.

HTC announced their upcoming Android tablet, the HTC Flyer, at MWC today and it was sporting some pretty decent specs while others left you wondering “why?”. The HTC Flyer is also their first Android device sporting the OnLive cloud gaming service which is no surprise after their $40 million invest into the company.
Cloud gaming service OnLive just received a fairly nice deposit into their bank account in the size of a cool $40million dollars thanks to an investment by HTC into the company. Back in December we reported that OnLive would be coming to Android in a limited capacity at first with gameplay coming in the future.
OnLive Inc, for those of you who haven’t heard about them, is a company that offers instant gaming of major game titles to your TV, PC or Mac. While normally you would have to have these games installed on your PC/Mac or own the game for your console system, OnLive lets you play them via ‘the cloud’. The Android app turns this into a spectator sport.
