We can’t say we are surprised someone has developed this little gadget. In fact we are surprised it hasn’t been done sooner than now. Simon Ford, who happens to be the Director of Tools from ARM, has created a USD slingshot to use when playing Angry Birds to get that a little closer to feeling yourself truly flinging a bird and stone block and wood planks.
Rovio has released another teaser trailer to promote the upcoming release of the new Angry Birds game which will be located out in space. The details about this upcoming addition to the franchise haven’t changed since we last reported on it though.
Pocketeers Limited have just released a new open source game engine for developers to use to build games. This new engine is cross-platform compatible which will allow developers to build games for iOS, Android, Bada and Blackberry devices.
It is no secret now that Rovio has a new Angry Birds title in the works due out next month called Angry Birds Space. With the help of NASA and National Geographic in it’s development and the fact it will use space physics giving it a whole new style of gameplay, this could be very interesting.
There is a new puzzle game on the Android Market from developers Flyweight Games called Test Chamber. This particular puzzle game is one in which you will be pushing blocks around in order to get to the exit in each stage. It is easier said then done though.
Continuing on with more pinball news, there is another fairly unique pinball game that has been released onto the market called Pinball Man. Developed by Mattia Fortunati, this particular pinball games blends ragdoll physics with pinball gameplay and adds a bit of twisted enjoyment into the mix.
Rovio has announced via Twitter that The Daily will be getting an exclusive guide to Angry Birds Space, Rovio’s upcoming newest addition to the Angry Birds franchise. This new game will have us flinging the birds in outer space and it is said that NASA and Nation Geographic are helping out with this game.
So that new Angry Birds promo we were trying to guess what it was for has finally been revealed. Apparently it will be a new game coming March 22nd and will take those Angry Birds off of the planet Earth and toss them into outer space. Both NASA and National Geographic will be landing a hand in the development of this new game.
It seems Rovio has something in the works for their Angry Birds franchise and have released a new promo image to tease everyone. The promo image really doesn’t reveal a whole lot, or maybe it does, depending on how you look at it.
