One of the most beloved arcade games of all time, Q*Bert, has launched on Nvidia’s flagship Android gaming platform, Nvidia Shield, in Q*Bert: Rebooted. While the game previously released on other platforms, it arrives this week with some new Shield specific enhancements including eight exclusive tracks by EDM artist ENV, revamped visuals and UI that take advantage of Shield’s processing power and re-balanced controls.
A new retro-style arcade game recently landed on Google Play the other day called Bunny Leap from Streaky Games. As mentioned in the title of this article, Bunny Leap takes a lot of inspiration from the old arcade game Q*Bert. Even though the gameplay is similar, there are some differences as well.
Originally released back in 1982, Q*Bert has been around for a very long time on a number of platforms including good old fashion arcades as well. Back in July 2014 it was announced that a reboot would be coming to mobile where Q*Bert would be getting a facelift for the times. That facelift has happened and Q*Bert Rebooted is now available on Google Play.
