For those of you with an Android device that happens to be Playstation Certified you have a bit of a treat this Thanksgiving as Grapefrukt Games has decided to give away their rather cool but challenging RTS game called Rymdkapsel for free on the Playstation Store. This is, as the title of this article mentions, in celebration of Thanksgiving.

A few months ago we talked about a retro-style side-scrolling arcade game called Nakama and that it would be arriving onto Android soon. Well that game has now officially gone live on Google Play and features all the ninjas and pixel art you could want.
A 90’s style RPG that has been in development for awhile now, originally planned for a Fall 2013 launch, has had its release date pushed back until sometime early next year. Survival Horror Story: Catequesis by Baroque Decay & Curved Cat Games isn’t being delayed because of problems arising from the game’s development though but because the company is shooting for a release of the game onto PC first before bringing it to mobile devices instead.
Back in September Android gamers finally got their first taste of SNK Playmore’s King of Fighters franchise with the release of King of Fighters 2012-A. Well now we have a second game to dive into from the same franchise called King of Fighters ’97 and as you’re probably guessing from the game’s title, this is a more retro type of brawler game over the company’s first release.
There are not a lot of hardcore Action-RPG type of games available for mobile gamers to try their hand at but if you like the more hardcore types of games there is a new one now available called Isle of Bxnes. This is a pretty hardcore game where in one moment you can be picking up some new great loot for your character and in the next your character could be dead forever.
OrangePixel has done quite well with their recently released Gauntlet-style game called Heroes of Loot. Well it looks like the company is going to build off of the game’s success with a new spin-off game that will feature aliens to kill and space marine looking characters to play as.
Last month we talked about three games that were currently doing a location-based soft launch that people in the areas it was being hosted in should check out. One of those games was a collaboration between Disney/LucastArts and Nimblebit called Star Wars: Tiny Death Star. Well this game has finally made its way to Android and is now available for download.
Square Enix has decided to release a rather interesting looking game called Pictlogica onto Android in Japan. This particular Puzzle-RPG is actually a spin-off of their Final Fantasy franchise and looks like it features the more retro-style of visuals and not the remake style that the past few Final Fantasy releases have had.
Heroes of Loot is OrangePixel’s recently released Gauntlet-style game that has done pretty well for itself since it launched onto Android not too long ago. The game features some pretty cute little characters that you get to play as and the game itself can be pretty addicting. If you happen to be someone who collects video game figurines and also a fan of Heroes of Loot, then you’ll be happy to know that there is now a set of figurines available for order.
Recently DotEmu announced that they would be bringing the classic Double Dragon trilogy to Android and during a the start of a little video game industry conference in Paris this week the company announced another game that will be heading our way next year called Little Big Adventure.
