It’s the end of the week which means it is time for another Android game sale round-up. This week’s list actually has a good amount of newcomers showing up, while also having a few repeats from the last round-up we did. There are some pretty decent indie games making their appearance this week as well.

Back in early 2015 we learned that there would be a collection of games heading to Android in the near future called Duke Nukem 3D: Hail to the King Collection which was being developed by Voidpoint. Since the initial story we followed the development of said collection of games, including having a great interview with Richard “TerminX” Gobeille of Voidpoint. However, now we have some bad news to report, which is this collection of games has now been canceled.
Kairosoft are pretty much the kings of sim-style games on mobile platforms. One of the games that made them as popular as they current are also happens to be one of the original titles they released onto Android called Game Dev Story. Well it appears that a possible sequel, or a similar themed game (more than likely), will be heading our way shortly with the Japanese version already having been released recently.
Fans of games set in outer space have another game to enjoy, called Secret of the Cores. In this game, players assume the role of a pilot who is mining among asteroids when an accident occurs, causing injury. Despite the damage, the ship’s computer still functions, so hope yet remains.
Help a beleaguered princess steal her way out of trouble in Thief Princess, now out on Google Play
Released by Kinto Games, the developers behind Bit Dungeon and Bit Dungeon II, Thief Princess is a new rogue like for Android. In this game, players will assume the role of a princess who has found herself under the thumb of an “old hag”, whose bidding she must do in the hopes of being released.
Devolver Digital has announced a new point-and-click adventure game, or as they call it a hugventure game, called Dropsy The Clown which will be arriving later this year on multiple platforms including Android. Dropsy is the master of warm and damp hugs, which sounds both comforting and odd at the same time.
Released by Brad Erkkila, It’s a Space Thing is a new casual space shooter for Android. The game is quite simple, in that players are looking to defeat their clone while in outer space. The player’s character will reside and move along the bottom of the screen, firing upwards, while the “evil twin” will reside along the top of the screen, firing downward.
Released by Playpark, Super Slug is a Metal Slug Clone that’s coming soon to Android. In the very near future, the game is slated to have both an open beta phase as well as a closed one, so players will have the opportunity to check out the game’s side-scrolling action.
Kairosoft has pretty much made themselves the king of retro-style sim games on Android and the company has released another one onto Google Play called The Manga Works. However, instead of running some sort of business, like in most of Kairosoft’s titles, this one has players taking on the role of a fledgling manga artist.
Originally released for PC, To The Moon is a role playing game that was developed by Freebird Games. The story revolves around the dying wish of one Johnny Wyles, whose desire is to go the the moon. Players will follow the story of protagonists Drs Eva Rosalene and Neil Watts, who work for the Sigmund Corporation.
