Angry Birds Rio is slated to receive it’s first update next week and Rovio has decided to tease all you Angry Birds fanatics out there with a little teaser video showing off the upcoming Beach Volleyball episode. For those of you who have keen sight, you’ll notice something in the video you haven’t seen before.

Through their Facebook page, Rovio has announced that we can all expect Angry Birds Rio to get it’s first update at some point next week. Originally, Rovio had hinted at an update coming to both Rio and regular Angry Birds this month so we may end up seeing a double shot of Angry Birds updates this month.
Rovio have been working on a little project, well actually it is a big undertaking, which will have all their Angry Birds game sync up to users devices. What does this mean? It means that if you buy a new Android device, install Angry Birds, normally you would have to start over again and finish levels you’ve already completed.
Rovio has mentioned via Twitter that Angry Birds Seasons will be receiving an update for Easter. We can only imagine that there will be eggs or egg baskets and possibly pigs with rabbit ears to follow the Easter theme. The update should be out before Easter according to Rovio who also mentioned upcoming updates for Rio and Original versions as well.
Not barely 24hrs after Rovio announced that Angry Birds Rio would be coming to the Android Market, it has now arrived. This version is exactly the same as the one you will find on Amazon expect for the price. This version is free but does come with ads. There is also an update that comes with this version as well.
Angry Birds developers, Rovio, announced today via Facebook that they will indeed be bringing Angry Birds Rio over to the Android Market. While this version of the game will be free to whoever wants it, you can expect to see ads inside. This is because the ad-free version will be remaining exclusive to the Amazon App Store.
Well it is a trio of Amazon news in this post starting off with the fact that the Amazon App Store is now open for business! We knew it was going to happen and while the offerings on the App Store (3,800 apps/games at launch) are what you can get on the Android Market, Angry Birds Rio is exclusive only to the Amazon App Store.
At little bit of a revelation has come out regarding Angry Birds Rio which is set to be released onto Android later this month. In a bit of a twist to the usual gameplay of saving the eggs from pigs, this version won’t have any eggs to save nor will it have any pigs. Instead, just some very angry birds and animals to save.
Angry Birds Rio to be exclusively offered on Amazon’s Appstore. Ad-free Angry Birds and Seasons as well.
For all of you hoping to snag a copy of the ad-free version of Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons for Android, we have some good news and some bad news. Good news is, you’ll be able to buy those later this month. The bad news, it’ll be available exclusively on the Amazon AppStore. We are guessing this disappoints a lot of people.
A little double header of Angry Birds news coming at you today thanks to Rovio keeping their Twitter account flowing with news. First on the pipeline is that the Angry Birds Rio version, based of the animated movie that is coming out, will be released for all to enjoy on March 22, 2011. This will be a separate download off the Android Market.
